Art quilt "Saturday at the Train Museum" featured in Patchwork Professional magazine August 2024 issue!

Designed and created to brighten inspire and uplift any space with a joyful soft texture.

Upcycled velvet, linen, denim and upholstery fabrics are hand quilted to complete a one of a kind modern textile art piece. I use yarn to quilt through three layers of textile it will change organically it is the nature of the material (wool, alpaca, cotton, or recycled water bottles).  Each stitch travels through then is pulled back again only a little so that it is not tight -by design to create softness in the appearance, this is why some distinct areas are loose with yarns for shadows to play creating dimensional effect.  

**This piece may be purchased while on exhibit at the Quad City International Airport Moline IL May-June 2025 through Quad City Arts and after if still available on this website but not before.

Spot clean only.

Easy hanging for display, rod pocket sewn on reverse, this piece has wooden dowel included.

"Saturday at the Train Museum" will be carefully shipped wrapped in plastic and gently rolled within a shipping tube, wooden hanging dowel included
