A little about Pez -I had not set out to create a Pez he just organically appeared. Joyfully composed boasting a mid century modern aesthetic. An assemblage of unique textiles including rich linens, silks, vibrant cottons, a hot pink garment textile and satins in florals and solids entirely hand stitched with over dyed embroidery yarns in wool, alpaca, silk and cotton.
This piece is thick and substantial bringing a comforting warmth to the space. Hand pieced and hand quilted one stitch at a time utilizing a large steel darning needle in cotton yarn through 3-8 layers of textile. This is one of a kind art and returns are not accepted. As in all of my pieces there is only one Pez and the art will not be reproduced. This piece is signed by the artists stitched signature on the front corner before it is acquired and shipped, a sleeve on the reverse indicates the name of the piece and signature of the artist. The reverse includes a hanging sleeve handsewn to accommodate a wood slat included.
The art will arrive wrapped in plastic for protection, shipped gently folded or rolled. If shipped within the continental US piece may arrive rolled and may included a wood slat.
