Coral, olive and mustard wool coats, vintage silk, wool and cotton yarn

Hand pieced and hand quilted wool coats left entirely in their disassembled shapes come together in the bay, a summertime maritime scene

This piece is thick and substantial bringing a comforting warmth to the space. Hand pieced and hand quilted one stitch at a time utilizing a large steel darning needle in cotton yarn through 3-8 layers of textile. This is one of a kind art and returns are not accepted. As in all of my pieces there is only one In the Bay and the art will not be reproduced. This piece is signed by the artists stitched signature on the front corner before it is acquired and shipped, a sleeve on the reverse indicates the name of the piece and signature of the artist. The reverse includes a hanging sleeve handsewn to accommodate a wood slat included.

The art will arrive wrapped in plastic for protection, shipped gently folded or rolled. If shipped within the continental US piece may arrive rolled and may included a wood slat.
