A harmony of handwork in Cliffside. The stitch is celebrated and brought forth in hand dyed wool and silk yarn. High above the sea you will spot happy modern cliffside dwellings. A wonderful collage of textures and bright colors in this unique mini quilt. Each stitch quilted by hand through all layers starting with 3 and often through 10. A modern art quilt composed of repurposed fabrics saved and sustainably sourced in vibrant peaches, azure aquas and meadow greens hand quilted in various wool and silk yarns. You can feel the emotional charge that art quilts bring in this framed piece. This original art boasts a uniquely intuitive mod vibe. Cliffside brings an inspiring bright spot to the space. Hand pieced and hand quilted Cliffside arrives mounted on white linen in a vintage gold frame ready to display. Keeping with a sustainable practice using no new materials my frames are antiques and include no glass and may be freshly hand rubbed in gold wax or include imperfections as they are vintage items. This is one of a kind art and returns are not accepted. As in all of my pieces there is only one Cliffside and the art will not be reproduced. This piece is signed by the artists stitched signature on the front corner before it is acquired and shipped, the reverse indicates the name of the piece and signature of the artist.
