A colorful patchwork of vintage silks and linen composed in a very contemporary abstract way, a bistro set of peach, an ariel view of the table and chairs while the navy kite of silk is soaring. Intuitve collage of textures in this unique mini quilt. Each stitch quilted by hand through all layers starting with 3 and often through 10. Peach Bistro is a hip artwork. A modern art quilt composed of repurposed fabrics sustainably sourced in deep vibrant navy silk, soft pink and hot magenta satin, mustard linen, lake blue and vintage 1960s printed cotton quilted in various wool and silk yarns. You can feel the emotional charge that only art quilts bring in this framed piece. This original art boasts a uniquely mod vibe. Peach Bistro is a thick piece bringing a comforting gentle warmth to the space. Hand pieced and hand quilted one stitch at a time utilizing a large sharpened steel darning needle in various yarns Peach Bistro arrives mounted on white linen in a vintage solid wood frame painted a vibrant gold. Keeping with a sustainable practice using no new materials my frames are antiques and include no glass. This is one of a kind art and returns are not accepted. As in all of my pieces there is only one Peach Bistro and the art will not be reproduced. This piece is signed by the artists stitched signature on the front corner before it is acquired and shipped, the reverse indicates the name of the piece and signature of the artist.
