Rich beautiful modern art quilt composed of wonderful repurposed upholstery fabrics sustainably sourced from furniture makers in deep natural tones and elegant warm textures hand sewn in unique wool yarn. You can feel the emotional charge that only textile art brings. The name of this piece came from being bold and taking risks. This tapestry sculpture is 3 dimensional in that it is at least 1-2” thick and stands out from a wall. This hanging tapestry art can be viewed from both sides and is equipped with two brass hooks on the top to be hung. Fabrics in thick linen textures and satins and silks in colors of gold, hues of rusts and beautiful colors above the natural linen tones. This thick and substantial piece brings a comforting warmth to the space. Hand pieced and hand bound and sewn a single stitch at a time utilizing a large steel darning needle in wool yarn through 3-8 layers of textile. This is one of a kind art and returns are not accepted. As in all of my pieces there is only one "Renegade" and the art cannot and will not be reproduced. This piece is signed by the artist with her unique sewn signature.
The art will arrive wrapped in plastic for protection, shipped gently.
