Rich beautiful modern art quilt composed of wonderful repurposed upholstery fabrics sustainably sourced from furniture makers in deep natural tones and elegant warm textures hand quilted in cotton yarn. You can feel the emotional charge that only art quilts bring. The name of this piece came from the little red barn shape in shimmering satiny red silks and satins in colors of gold, hues of blues above the natural linen tones. The colors within this piece are earth tones with bits of blues, reds and beautiful golds boasting a uniquely mid century modern vibe. This piece is thick and substantial bringing a comforting warmth to the space. Hand pieced and hand quilted one stitch at a time utilizing a large steel darning needle in cotton yarn through 3-8 layers of textile. This is one of a kind art and returns are not accepted. As in all of my pieces there is only one Little Red Barn and the art will not be reproduced. This piece is signed by the artists stitched signature on the front corner, a label on the reverse indicates the name of the piece and signature of the artist. The reverse includes a hanging sleeve handsewn to accommodate a wood slat included.

The art will arrive wrapped in plastic for protection, shipped gently folded or rolled. If shipped within the continental US piece may arrive rolled and may included a wood slat.
